Standard Tuning
The chord I put as "E" is actually: x22010
I don't think there is a name for it, so I just put it as "E". Just move your
middle and ring finger both down to the 2nd fret, then take off your pointer
finger for Em, which is the right chord name.
C Fmaj7
Orange lamps shine by willow bay
C "E" Em
Ice covers from the lake to where I lay
C "E"
In a state
Em
In which I dream
Fmaj7 C
If you were here
Fmaj7 C
Winter wouldn't pass quite so slow
Fmaj7 C
And if you were here
Fmaj7 C
Then i'd have a choice to live not be alone
C Fmaj7
But instead I sit atop the crest
C "E" Em C
Looking down on the valley where the dead rest
Fmaj7
And every morning I wake beside myself
[C "E"]
Em
But I digress
Fmaj7 C
If you were here
Fmaj7 C
Winter wouldn't pass quite so slow
Fmaj7 C
And if you were here
Fmaj7 C
Then i'd have a choice to live not be alone
